Support for Local Urban Gardeners (SLUG)

Support for Local Urban Gardeners (SLUG) is an all-volunteer working group with the aim to help reduce the cost of food, improve the health of participating Lawrence families, improve soil fertility, expand biodiversity, and connect people with educational opportunities in ways that build and sustain community. Simply put, we're trying to get more gardens growing in Lawrence. As a means of doing this, we mentor new gardeners and provide physical labor from time to time.
